February 1, 2008 - Ava Grace embraces her new community and attends her first Northshore parade, Mandeville's Krewe of Orpheus. It was bitterly cold (by our standards anyway), but everyone had a great time!
February 5, 2008 - Mardi Gras Day and Nanny's 29th birthday! It was considerably warmer by Tuesday, so Ava Grace and Sofia were able to enjoy their fancy new LSU ladder from Maw Maw at the Rex parade uptown.
This was shot just after Sofia decided she wanted down, and in true diva fashion, kicked Ava and tried to rip her shirt off to get her point across. Here you can see her reveling in her attack while Ava Grace is truly shocked by it all...just kidding!
